This project was the re-modelling of a 1920’s detached house which had suffered two mis matched extensions. A local contractor re clad the exterior with brick slips and hanging tiles but was left with the original brick and tile door surround.
We were asked to create a door surround to contrast with the new facade whilst still echoing the basic design of the original. The solution was a complete post fix cladding of the original feature with a GRC surround designed with specialist fixings. The surround was finished in a complementary colour and took only two hours to fit with no specialist plant required. The new surround was designed and manufactured in house and delivered to site within 3 weeks.
